Is this heating mat bendable?
NO!!! Compared with general heating pads, far infrared heating pads are less soft and flexible. The multi-functional construction layers include a layer of high-density compressed cotton that keeps the mat durable, resists tension, and protects it. Due to this design, it is not flexible enough to roll up for storage. You can fold it up and pack it in the tote bag that comes with the mat, or just store it in a cupboard, under a bed, or in any area that accommodates its dimensions.

Can I use it on the soft mattress?
In addition to the multiple layers of the mat, there is a polyester hard cotton layer that keeps the mat durable, resists tension and protects the mat from damage during use.
The mat might flex a bit if you’re sleeping on it on the bed using a soft mattress. But if the mattress is too soft with too much weight on it, the mat will start to crater out, causing the wires to break. A firm mattress is recommended for use with the gemstone infrared heating pad.
